Don't you have some other article to comment on? Or does this "I don't like what all of you like" comment pass for clever where you come from?

Law & Order loves that stuff. Though I think part of that is they want the questioning scene to be a little more interesting and have some action, so they have them work as they talk.

I absolutely can't stand the old "I didn't notice someone was behind me when I was talking about them." No one else in the room noticed the other guy arrive? You didn't hear him walk in??

That is a LOT of movies.

One thing that always takes me out of the movie or TV show is when someone has to tell someone something important, but the person who needs to hear it refuses to listen and interrupts. "No, no! No time for that now, I have to get to my car." The other person can do little more than stammer, "But— But—" and then shrug…

I was about to comment that Stern's narration in The Wonder Years was one of the places I didn't mind it so much. Maybe watching again today I would hate it, but he at least got some funny jokes in there.

Another thing about the Quark and Sisko coversation, is that as I recall, Quark brings up slavery, which feels like an extra twist of the knife that works so much better due to Sisko being black. In the world of the show, I don't know if he'd take that as seriously as a modern black American, but it does seem to get a…

I haven't seen this episode in many years, but I still remember loving that conversation between Sisko and Quark. Because he does have a point. The idea of the Ferengi is to laugh at their extreme love of money and profit and how shallow they are in comparison to the Federation. They even go beyond parodying the most…
