I really want Homegrown and an official release of Time Fades Away. I have a nice vinyl rip I found online, but I want the real deal. He really hates that album, unfortunately. When I interviewed Poncho last October, I asked him about Archives II and he laughed and told me my guess was as good as his as to when it

I love that record, especially the short album closing songs. I really wish "Cripple Creek Ferry" lasted longer.

I remember reading about that in Shakey. I hope it'll be included on Archives Volume II when and if that comes out.

Tonight's The Night

Haha, can't believe I didn't see that.

I wonder if this was a subtle attempt to reference "Ye Sleeping Knights of Jesus."

I took a class on Bach's sacred vocal music the fall of 2011 and when we covered BWV 140, I realized that "Loquasto International Film Festival" from the Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou borrows the melody of the first movement of that cantata.

That, or "Sexy Sadie."

Don't forget The Saints, "(I'm) Stranded" is a great song.

Haha, thank you very much kind A.V. Club commenter!

It's nice that Community comes back on my 24th birthday. But given all the bummer news surrounding it, it's bittersweet. I hope season 4 is good.

I didn't even realize it was him until after the show, all I was interested in was Tommy.

I was at the Dinosaur Jr. show at Terminal 5 this past Saturday and I nearly passed out from joy when Tommy Stinson came on stage to play bass on "T.V. Eye." Fred Armisen was playing drums.

He's one of my rock journalist enemies along with Dave Marsh and Ian Cohen, but he was actually kind of likable in this. I still think he's smug for going by the Dean of American rock critics.

I watched this the night before Thanksgiving and really enjoyed it. It made me remember why I love the 'Mats. There are some great stories about them that I hadn't heard before. Finding out George Wendt was a fan gives "Here Comes A Regular" an interesting subtext if you imagine it applying to Norm.

During finals week at my university, DJs at the student radio station do free format shows and during finals week, December of 2009, my co-host and I did a pirate radio show.
