I'm sorta over these guys. It feels like they've been doing a bunch of gimmicky bs since Embryonic, and Wayne Coyne bugs the crap out of me.
This is a good entry. I've never seen any of her movies, but now I want to see all of them.

I think people still use it. I still use it. It's definitely the only way to describe Drunkenship.
I heard Bosnian Rainbows for the first time last night and it started off interesting and that lasted for about 30 seconds and than it sounded like Rush and I had to turn it off.
Cedric is actually the Mexican reincarnation of Marc Bolan.
I don't know how they made those two albums and than followed them up with some of the most god awful music I've ever heard.
That performance was still awesome even with Omar standing off to the side. I didn't really care, I was just stoked to see them. Youtube started up when I was a junior in high school and at the time I liked it because it allowed me to watch the ATDI performances on Letterman and Conan every day.
This makes me really sad. I haven't even listened to them regularly in probably 5 years, but they were one of the first bands I really loved who were "my band". I'd gotten a ton of good records from older family members, but I found out about these guys on my own and bought De-Loused when I was 14. There are certain…
I got a free tweed suit last summer and I need to take it in to get tailored. It's actually the first suit I got as an adult and I've never been to a tailor. It's a perfect fit lengthwise, but I need to get the pants tapered a bit. I don't want it to be to modern and skinny, but right now it's billowy. It makes me…
I really love the tailoring/fabrics from you see in old photos and films from that time period. It's a shame that dressing that way has earned the stupid hipster distinction because a lot of it looks sharp as hell.
I dunno how they made it dude, all I know is that I wanted to cry afterwards. It was the first meat I'd eaten in almost a month and I was sweating and got a head rush when I stood up.
I know some bars have it, my beer snob friend was telling me about a place that has both Pliny and Flashpoint for 3 dollars during happy hour. Can't remember the name though.
There are so many great breweries here, I am fine with drinking the cheap stuff, but given my location I should treat myself more often. I might actually take a trip to the Russian River brewery this spring break. I'd also like to go check out the Lagunitas brewery, another favorite.
I went to the Gordon Biersch pub in…
@avclub-bf3eb25e65e1f87dab76829f15a0907a:disqus That's right where I am and what I've been doing. I turned 23 in October and starting to feel like a loser rather than a young dude having fun.
Never tried any of their other beers. It's almost time for Pliny the Younger though, and that's even harder to find.
Don Julio is so good, makes me wish I was rich.
The farmers market by my house has a family that makes a ton of different types of hummus. The roasted red pepper with black bean is delicious, but my favorite is the jalapeno cilantro. Both of them go great on sandwiches and burgers.
