When I reread Good Omens, it wasn't quite as good as I remembered it being.  I'd start with Small Gods, Guards! Guards!, Wyrd Sisters, or Mort.  If you like them you can loop back and read everything in order.

The Chereau Ring was released on DVD, it seems to be out of print right now, but still available for under $100, or possibly the public library… It really is compelling, particularly the earlier Operas where Shaw's socialist reading (which informs the whole) works best; Wagner wasn't so much of a socialist by the time
