I always kind of assumed he was also Latino, but didn't grow up speaking Spanish at home. The actress who plays his sister is Latina, and the rest of the show as a whole has so many clearly Latino characters that I sort of figured his family were, too.

Rat King is an instant Nutcracker reference to me—I'm surprised the reviewer didn't mention that. Seven-headed rat monster is a terrifying thing when you're eight….still is, really.

"Bring the new human! No, wait—it'll distract me. Don't bring the new human!"

SQUEEZE! This song is firmly within my karaoke wheelhouse, along with Hall and Oates' "Rich Girl" and occasionally, "Toxic" by Britney Spears.

I'm really hoping that Chavez being a terrible professor is deliberate.

God, dropping in whenever to talk about whatever sounds like the worst idea ever.

It makes me wonder about Wesen social workers: I mean, given the number of Wesen in Portland, at least some people who work in DCF would have to be. What do those people do if they come across Wesen children who need new homes?

Cooper? I hardly know her!

I can't wait to see Petra dealing with the fact that her husband is an arms dealer—it's going to be an interesting season!

It's like the medical repatriation plotline: "#ImmigrationReform". I love that this show is so unabashedly political.

I think now would be a good time for Rafael to start spending some time with Alba. She has been firmly in his corner for a while now, and frankly I think he could use her as a mentor in his life.

I love seeing the Villaneuva women loving each other—it's my favorite thing on TV.

I'm excited to see Jane working on her writing again. I've always loved Jane's career ambitions, and now she can work on her novel, and there will be shenanigans when she tries to get an agent!

I am a ride-or-die Rogelifan. He is AMAZING.

You are in for a treat.

Oh, Cosima without a doubt. And if we're very lucky, we might even get a bit of Alison too! I have no idea how they would bring her in, but you know she would hilarious.

You'll never waitress in Torquay again!

Seeing the doubles of this episode makes me desperately want Tatiana Maslany to guest star for a few episodes on this show.

If you haven't seen him in season 2 of The Hour yet, I highly recommend it: he does some beautifully intense, restrained work, and then just bashes the shit out of it with a hammer.

Did you listen to that episode of Lore? It was TERRIFYING.
