OVARY-EXPLOSION!
Wikipedia Brown!
I would recommend it. I had tried watching Doctor Who for years before Capaldi and I just couldn't take it—it felt insufferably self-satisfied with its own whimsy. But, I was a big fan of Capaldi in the second season of The Hour, so I thought I'd give it a go. Finally, everything clicked into place, and I've enjoyed…
YES to Katie Leung—she is incredible!
On the one hand, this has SO MANY THINGS that could make it good: Alison Brie! Ian McMotherfuckingShane! Rebecca Front! Adaptations of Trollope! On the other hand…Julian Fellows.
My BIL is in the approaching the end of a yeard (a year-long beard): he looks like a polygamist hipster, and it's the WORST.
Godless Commies—even their pie is red!
I am craven and thou art my master!
I think (hope) a sequel would be better. I enjoyed it, but it all came across as a bit soulless.

At the very least, they could have refrained from banning longtime commenters who criticized their actions. Bitching about censorship, whilst censoring your critics—who, it must be said, were not vulgar or abusive—is hypocritical in the extreme.
Yay, Oliver Jeffers! My nephews LOVE his books, and like you said, I think it's a toss-up who enjoys them more: the kids or the grownups. I also highly recommend The Day the Crayons Quit.
Yup. It's absolutely what they deserve, because that shit was fucking unethical and their writing staff just don't adhere to even their own self-imposed standards and get pissy when you point it out. As someone who comments there, though, it's exceptionally frustrating. The Jez commentariat are a pretty solid bunch,…
I guess she was Barbara Stanwyck in Double Indemnity in a past life.
Now we all get to use it in casual conversation!
