I really wanted Max to do well. I liked her a lot. But the problem for me was that she was too prim, and it meant that she wasn't willing to make herself (sigh) vulnerable by taking risks with her work: either with her appearance or by going big and vulgar with her performance. She was too safe. And YES on the judging

I just want a GIF of her saying "Gatorland" over and over.

Honey Mahogany and her caftans!

I think they need to sell those pillows. It would be so amazing. Also, I want posters from The Passions of Santos and Pasiones Intergalactica.

I love Foggy. He's a thoroughly nice guy, but he's also fleshed out (though I think that has more to do with the actor than some of the writing): the butcher story, the baseball bat, his preoccupation with office supplies. He has some depth to him, which makes it interesting as well as enjoyable.

But not if you drink the eel! Then you'll be filled with mighty eel-strength!

I feel you. I used to eat while watching "Hannibal". Never again, man.

I get your point, but now I just really want a bagel.

We are filled with mighty eel-strength!

I couldn't watch, but I kept flinching at the repeated squelching sounds. Then I had a dream that night about someone's head being taken off through similar means…it was disturbing.

He's in Wolf Hall, if you haven't seen it yet. He plays Thomas Cromwell's ward, Rafe.

I loved when she teased him about that, saying she should be out with his assistant, since he's the one that chose the wine. It showed how confident she is, and how surprised Wilson was that someone would make a joke at his expense without it being the least mean-spirited. He doesn't have much experience with

I hadn't thought that at first, but it makes sense. Especially after having seen the way that Fisk grew up, it seems like maybe he is a sad, deeply violent man whose strings are being pulled by someone who knows enough to keep himself in the dark, even to the one he's manipulating.

But will they unleash R.O.U.S.'s on Hell's Kitchen? Because I want that.

Have you seen the Key & Peele "Magic Negro" sketch? It turns into a magical wizard smackdown, with lines like "You need to find your own troubled white boy", and "There can only be ONE Magic Negro!"

It does make it clear, though, that we could maybe use another black character. I mean, it feels like a pretty diverse show so far: there are Asian characters, several Latino characters…but it would be nice to fill it up a bit more.

I was wondering about that. I mean, Chinese is extremely difficult for native English speakers, but I also have no real ability to parse what a good/bad accent sounds like.

Exactly. He may be proficient, but it doesn't mean he's good.

Well, on Boardwalk Empire, his character was Irish, so that makes sense.

Senor Foggy Law!
