Dipping pizza in ranch dressing: yes or no?

Yeah, Via Chicago. It was fine but overall deep-dish is not my thing at all.

You know where I had an amazing West Coast pizza? At Gjelina in Venice Beach. My god was it spectacular. If you've seen the Will Arnett/Netflix show FLAKED, it's where the object of his desire works and the guys hang out. Let me tell you, there were no 40-something local slackers on bikes hanging out on the patio

I think the two most popular, and the pies are definitely very very good, are Apizza Scholls and Ken's Artisan. However they attract long lines of both locals and tourists, so you've gotta plan accordingly. Then there's Life of Pie, fantastic personal-sized wood-fired-oven pizzas; build-your-own pies at Pinky's, which

Finding porn in the woods, that was the best. Kids today don't know what they're missing.

I'm out here in Portland OR and people seem to like to complain that Portland can't do pizza. Actually there is lots of great pizza here, different styles from local chains to higher-end wood-fired-oven spots. I think that cranky attitude is a pose by people to show others how "discerning" their tastes are. Whatever.

I dunno call me crazy but I read this post then just said "Fuck this shit" and put POWERAGE on again.

She *is* awesome isn't she?!

I have less a problem with this than with the fact that people are using quotes around words for emphasis, which then lends that phrase a suspicious, ironic, opposite meaning, and even a fuck-you tone.

Dang I was just watching the ONE FALSE MOVE trailer the other day. Remember totally digging it on VHS way back when (I seem to recall it maybe kinda sorta getting lumped in with RESERVOIR DOGS thanks to its unsettling violent opening scene). And then maybe two weeks ago I was talking about how it was a bummer that

Could it be construed that this was intentional on the filmmakers' part? That is, Redford's character just isn't good enough a sailor to survive? Could the things he did that made you scratch your head have been things maybe a less-skilled sailor would do, like thinking he was doing the right thing? Asking for a

Opening for Danzig's "Mother" video clearly inspired by Doors' promo clip for "Break on Through" and Danzig's second album 'Lucifuge' cover very obviously a take on the Doors' first LP cover art. Danzig has always been a Morrison kinda guy intentionally so.

If you're a book lover I'd recommend not ever working in a bookstore or library. I've done both and yes, it is mostly depressing. The worst was when teenagers and their mothers would come in looking for some godforsaken book the kid had to read for school. It was like they resented having to come into a *gasp* *choke*

"Even though I'm kind of a horror buff, I've never seen House of… or The Devil's Rejects, mostly because their fanbase seemed to consist of the same people who were crazy about The Boondock Saints."

Saw this back in '90 thanks to Fangoria or maybe Film Threat. Had to shut the VHS off after the video sequence and take a walk around the block to regroup. Then I watched the rest of it in silent awe. Wrote a review for my college newspaper and said it was a movie people wouldn't enjoy but had to see anyway.

My goodness yes.

I wasn't too surprised, and was definitely pleased, to see THE FLY as the header image. Maybe you're hanging around the wrong film fans, since in horror-film circles Cronenberg's movie is considered an '80s remake masterpiece (along with, of course, Carpenter's THE THING).

"The Phantom Menace was nothing like the epic tale of war and derring-do spanning centuries I imagined as a kid reading the novelization of A New Hope."

Yes! You're smart! Not like everybody says, like dumb.
