I think it's a great idea for the Brave Companions to be one of the mercenary groups Dany runs into during her conquest of Meereen. Because this show can't not have Vargo Hoat.

Well, they were at least wearing bronze armor under all that fur.

Huh. I could see you as Craster.

A bunch of sweaty men grapple with each other for a while to the sound of thousands of screaming fans. There's your review.

I'd recommend watching the first season to see if you like the story and characters, then reading the books. Really, though, no need to rush reading the books. It's gonna be a while before the next one's out.

I haven't read The Little Friend yet, either. But if it has the same quality of writing as in her other two books, I'll be quite pleased. And hopefully it has a bit more narrative drive The Goldfinch, which I felt was a little lacking in that area.

Time is a flat circle.

I have no idea if what you're describing is real, but if it is, I'm sorry about the breakup.

If we do a ritual sacrifice of half the directors in Hollywood, there's a chance it could bring Kubrick back. Slim chance.

Donna Tartt, anyone? The Secret History is probably one of my favorite novels ever, but Jesus she sure does move at a snail's pace. Three novels in about twenty five years? It's a shame because nobody really writes like she does. The Goldfinch certainly wasn't perfect but it was a singularly elegant novel. I can't

NEWELL!!!!!

Shia Labeouf can help you with the latter.

Ooh! Ooh! Disillusionment!

I definitely agree. He would have been horrible as a commanding officer if his portrayal is entirely accurate. But the show does a good job of humanizing him without necessarily making him likable.

They could tackle North Africa, which the previous two series haven't touched. And there were certainly a lot of interesting tank battles that I would really like to see them film.

I wouldn't necessarily say that the first four are the best. The time spent at Bastogne is harrowing in a way that the early battles aren't; it shows the slow dropping of morale and the harsh conditions that they all faced in a very brutal and realistic manner.

Blade Runner took place in 2019.

So the 'F' really does stand for France!

You two are quite the pair.

No mention of this being a reunion of The Innkeepers with Pat Healy and Sara Paxton?
