I started a new song this weekend — it's been a while since I've written a song. Just noodling around on the piano and came up with something I liked. My son, though, pointed out the similarity to the bridge of "Here Comes the Sun", so I dunno.

Good weekend. Saw Beauty and the Beast (new one), Cool Runnings on Netflix, and Baby Driver. Had successful trips to the barber and dentist with my kid. Took the kid shopping for some high school clothes (middle school was uniforms). Got him a Stich-themed Hawaiian shirt and a couple of Beatles t-shirts.

I have to admit I was disappointed in it. I didn't care about Baby or Deborah, and it just didn't hit me in a visceral way like I was hoping. Still better than most movies, though.
