The concept of multiple "faces"/avatars of a single entity is not limited to and didn't originate with Christianity and Hinduism. Various early European, Celtic specifically, gods are depicted with multiple faces. We've got little to no literary elaboration on that though.  Odin is often depicted as appearing in

The Camaro was produced to compete with the Mustang, and there's reference to Chevy needing to do that in the episode. Which would make me think Camaro.  But the Camaro was released in 66.

That's what I was thinking as well. Zoroastrianism for R'hllor, the formal Roman pantheon for the Seven. With various aspects of Christianity layered onto both. The Old Gods get to be all "we worship trees in a vague and unspecified manner WEEE!" like early Celtic/Germanic/Scandinavian religions.

As noted, not British. That's the upper crusty, waspy sound of East Coast money. And it is and was almost always an affectation, even if it was something enforced on you as a child to prevent you from sounding "ethnic". Its also still quite common. Just look at Martha Stewart or spend some time in or around a place

I make my own sauces, but if I'm buying a jar I like Mr. Stubbs or Sweet Baby Ray's depending on what I'm cooking.

I feel like the nearly ubiquitous foams and even more so "caviars" and other spheres are a better known example. One of the few things to trickle down from top tier fine dining to show up in varied places.

I really wouldn't know, haven't seen The Soup in ages unfortunately. But if you see a tubby guy from Finding Bigfoot there's an 80% chance its Moneymaker. He runs the 'research' group the show is based on and he does most of their press. He also has a sizable footprint in anything bigfoot related and not from the show.

I was always into that stuff as a kid for the same reason. There's and interesting story behind it and some great connections to stuff like history and folklore. But the more you dig into the more ridiculous it becomes, I ended up getting pretty heavy into the skeptic thing as a result. I still pay attention to it

Apparently those sorts of paranormal shows are killing the entire genre. Watching a documentary about bigfoot and hearing from crazies is one thing. But actually seeing them run around like jackasses is another. To quote my brother "you know bigfoot is cool, but these idiots never find anything. I do more productive

Depending on what he's doing the answer is most likely 'no'. Most tv jobs pay 30-60k. Speaking of Food Network I was recently warned to never work for Chopped. Apparently they don't treat their people very well, not the cast necessarily but the network and top level producers.

The crowning idiocy of that show was the contest/promotion discovery ran where people could dictate/vote on a recipe over twitter and presumable get there hands on the results. Cause a major cable network is going to dive into actively and publicly distributing illicit liquor.

Cash cab wasn't so much fake as the legal requirements for securing the rights to put someone on national television are best handled before hand rather than after randomly accosting them on the street. "Efficient" is probably a better word. My sister signed up at some point. Basically people just pre-filled out the
