Excited on multiple accounts
Thought I read "Alan Cumming" as "Alan Rickman" and imagined the best Green Goblin ever. Cumming's still a cool choice. If I were the people in charge of the production, I'd sneak in a scene where Cumming gets to play Nightcrawler. No it wouldn't make sense, but it'd be cool.

You might be on the right track, st. murse. I've read about writers for the show that seem very funny when not making sketches. Simon Rich has had some good stuff on standup (though his famous writing dad probably helped him get stuff), but none of that ever comes through the sketches.

Suggestion for the show
Agreed on the wasting of Zach, but I also thought Will Forte's "Good Job Women" song was worth a few laughs.

I wondered if he was trying to make a joke. That he was pretending to be sad. No one noticed.

Agreed with Ben Hur in all his anonymous glory.

Late support for the original comment. I was really looking forward to this album, especially after being a fan of PFT for a while. This is a rather weak album. His riffing tracks are barely worth listening to, he spends half of them laughing at his own jokes, and the rest of the CD is short and…just blah.

Animated
Really disappointed Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs didn't get a nomination. It doesn't matter since Pixar will always win, but it would have been nice. Did anyone see Princess and the Frog? Does it deserve the nom?

I think you're on the right path, Qamar. I also reasoned that "To Remember" could have been some sort of hidden message from a crazed Topher (or whoever built the collage of photos). That the message was designating that room as the ideal place to activate a device like that.

what? Gooch from Scrubs and other stuff? What's her internet fame?

Going of teh dude, I think he's attached himself to good projects. Seems like a good guy. Works well in projects Funny People and PandR, but that really could be due to the other people involved. Seeing his own standup has made me think that might be the truth. I keep seeing the promo for his aforementioned Comedy

I can't refer to it as Sunny since that's the name of a local radio station where I grew up. My mind cannot comprehend 80s rock Djs on the same level as Paddy's Pub.

I just have so many other important things to do on the internet that I don't have time to write it all out.

So have the writers just been skating through Hollywood?
That local article you linked to made me realize a few things:

Violin/Cello Girl
Just watching it on Hulu and had to stop 5 mins in. It's actually more enjoyable if you haven't watched the past season. The absurdity is enhanced.

Psychonauts was a much tighter package than BL. I also love the work Schafer puts out, but was really disappointed by Riggs' story. There was a 1/5 of the laughs, the RTS gameplay was clumsy (I dropped to the easiest difficulty out of frustration), and the story itself seem stilted. I actually cared about the world

Thank you Erik,

I'm wondering if it's Ivy as well. But I've had suspicious she was the person inside the Dollhouse that was originally imprinting Echo with messages to Ballard. Did we ever figure that out? The person inside the Dollhouse that was trying to ruin everything? Or are we supposed to just assume it was Boyd at this point?

Agreed. I think it was just too much for one episode. We wanted to learn every little detail about S.P.H.I.N.X. and what Brock's been up to. So every minute of Monstroso was just a distraction from the real juicy meat. And we don't even learn about 24's actual fate.

Left Behind
I started reading those books expecting an awesome post-apocalyptic story and all I got was pages of fantasy romance. I remember the 50 year old pilot falling in love with the sexy stewardess.

I found her booty dancing in the "Virginica" sketch enlightening.
