This thread has made me understand that Amelie's physical attractiveness is an integral part of whether I like or dislike her columns. To sum up:

Is It just me…
Or did the run time/commercial ratio of this episode seem particularly insane. Maybe I'm old or i have just gotten used to watching shows on DVD but I never noticed it as bad with other episodes. this one it jsut seems to have 2 minutes of action followed by 5 minutes of commercials. Am I crazy?

Lupin - too obscure. But I got it!

I'm waiting for the scene where Not-Locke comes to the lighthouse and screams in frustrations "He broke the rules! He's not allowed to break the mirrors!"

Has anyone considered that the Man in Blacks situation may be similar to Desmond's in Season 2. The only thing that would have made that clip redeemable was having one of her audience members had got up and said "How much is NBC paying you to suck jay leno's

Santa claus is a young asian girl in a school-girl outfit with a tattoo? you know, this may be a holiday I could get into.

Come to betheda, MD and hang out on a weekend night, chances are you will see him walking around the town (in full dollar sign regalia). He isn't hawking his book, he is just going out for dinner and drinks. He also always has a relatively attractive middle-aged woman on his arm.

Thank you Steve McRib!

Well Dave48, nothing makes you sound like a reasonable, well-informed, non-biased commentor than jumping on every unrelated thread with a screed about how we haven't been hard enough on David Letterman.

Seriously though, World of Warcraft is a pretty huge cultural phenomenon and probably has more players (not myself) than some popular TV shows have viewers. The general attitude of the AV club writers toward computer gaming as art is pretty sad, considering that they are present at the birth of an entirely new media

"aren't you going to kiss her?"

"Is that true, though - "It" seriously ends with a gangbang involving 12-year-olds? Yeesh"

"Sorry if I'm traumatically inseminating your youthful memories with lava-hot truth fluids."

Allow me to retort-
