That scene with Oleg and his father was my favorite of the night.

That just makes it more depressing.

Don't forget Oleg admitting that he not only had a sexual relationship with Nina, but that he was still angry about what happened to her.

There were no heavy sighs this episode! I was starting to worry.

We don't care about your blintzes.

MARTHA'S RUSSIAN APARTMENT IS SO DEPRESSING I WANT TO DIE.

I stand by their blintzes. Always good.

No

Si

Nope, Don is used with their first name, hence Don Hector. I don't know if its ever been used in the show - perhaps from a DEA agent - but I looked it up a long time ago so I knew the name.

We don’t see Jimmy and Kim until almost halfway through the episode; if
you’re like me, you were sunk so deep in Gus’s story that Kim’s
appearance … felt like suddenly being brought
up for air.

The shot with Mike leaning up against the wall as Chuck is thinking about coming back to the kitchen reminded me so much of Mike in Half Measures getting ready to cap that guy through the wall with Chow's assistance.

You don't have to be 'almost sure'. It is fact. Max was killed after he and Gus had their very first meeting with Vuente whey they had the original restaurant, back in the late 80s. Clearly, Max is no longer alive 4 years prior to the events of BB. What an odd thing for Donna to say.

Jimmy and Mike definitely do NOT have a bromance (that will be my future bffs, Gus and Mike). Mike tolerates Jimmy so he can make some money. I can hardly wait till he gets to the point where he doesn't even bother to play nice anymore.

Maybe she would simply like to continue seeing her family.

"Slave girls?"

I can hardly wait for the reciting of an epic poem scene. Seriously, though. I can hardly wait.

Of course. He's Knox Harrington. You know, the video artist.

Thewlis is fantastic.

Yeah, well, I got something for you (*pulls out the old bird in the pocket*).
