Well, there was something like eighteen more minutes that we didn't get to see between those two. I don't think she was expecting Elliot to get shot, she just knows that she's got to be the one he wakes up to.

He was basically mimicking Slater's moves.
I've been raving about the musical choices all season - and man, tonight's selections were once again on point - but it got so loud during Dom's interrogation of Darlene that it started to become a problem hearing the dialogue. And I was wearing headphones.
But all music on this show is amazing.
Actually, that's a pretty good analogy, even though I'm probably one of the few people that enjoyed season 2 of Homeland (there was a lot that was great about that season! It had 'Q&A' fercrissakes!) and doesn't look back on it as a total disaster and slip in quality. That wasn't until season three for me.
Yeah, I hated the 'romance' between Hannibal and Will in Fuller's slash fanfic, but I can totally get behind Tyrell being in love with Elliot. If Esmail makes it part of the plot? I will forgive him all of his indulgences this season
I loved that they replayed that scene from Season 1 with Elliot in place instead of Mr. Robot. And I loved that it was Tyrell who got Elliot off on that whole Red Wheel Barrow tangent with his reciting of the WCW poem. But that opening was definitely shot like a romance.
I have never been so tense during this show as when Tyrell was threatening to pull that trigger. I actually wanted Elliot to get shot, just so the show would prove Tyrell was alive and real. What a relief when he looked down to his blood soaked hands!
I'm starting to think season two is like Esmail's Empire Strikes Back.
I think it will come back to the main one eventually. Joanna is still looking out for her husband - she gets her boytoy to help her frame Scott Knowles for the murder of his wife and Tyrell's name is in the clear when he finally "comes back". Joanna is committed, damn it. She will poke her twat with a fork to induce…
I no longer have a clue what's happening in this show but all I do know is that Tyrell is a real person, not an alter ego nor a hallucination, and that he's in love with Elliot. That's good enough for me.
I was about to say the same thing. I'd forgotten about Bad Influence but I was deep in my James Spader fix at the time. I remember the film's release got a lot of attention because it was shortly after Lowe's sex tape leaked, and the film has a scene where a sex tape is leaked.
Wonder Boys and The Game basically brought my Michael Douglas hate to a standstill. Couldn't stand looking at that smug fucker's face in every movie I'd seen him in before that, but suddenly, I turned into an unabashed fan.
Sad news. I was a big fan of Wonder Boys, great adaptation, and I also thought he did a great job with The River Wild, a guilty pleasure. But LA Confidential is superb. Holy shit, look at baby-faced Russell Crowe up there. And prior to that film, I'd been watching a lot of Australian films, so I knew Crowe had it in…
Look, I've always been a fan of Keanu's, even while acknowledging his 'limited' skills (he was great and stunning in My Own Private Idaho, still one of my faves of all time, so he gets a pass on most things).
(Do we really want a season focused on Pacho?)
She's not a teacher. He met her in a bar where she was a hostess. I believe that once they were married, she was a 'interior decorator' for a while. I gather now she spends her time taking care of their brood.
Has "Justine" had some work done I don't know about?
Wait, I thought Marion was boning Fassbender?
Kusama has been around for a while, though, but yeah, she's solid and I hope she continues to get more "adult-oriented" opportunities, 'cause Lord knows we need them.
Well, maybe her daughter will survive and grow up to be a serial killer.
