It was really set more in the early 90s. Darlene is playing the original Game Boy.

I must have missed the explanation, but did Elliot's dad comment on the giant bruise on Elliot's face? I can't ever tell if Edward acknowledged the abuse his wife doled out on his kids or not.
They slid the needle under his nail and then broke it off.
I loved the music during the heist, but the return of that haunting piece from season one that played as Angela was leaving the femtocell under the desk just gave me the shivers.
The song during the mission, here you go

That ending choked me up, too. And always Mr. Robot's surprise when Elliot reaches out to him - Christian Slater plays his compassion for Elliot so beautifully. The scene in the car when he's talking to young Elliot and confesses he's been sick got me equally emotional. I truly love the glimpses we get of Edward,…
That was a straight up crazy episode, but I loved it. However, I'm panicking over the suggestion that Mr. Robot killed the Man In The Trunk because just seeing a few minutes of Tyrell walking into backdrops and shouting about his Ferragamos was enough to make me realize just how fucking much I miss having him in the…
Dude. Bojack is your favorite character, isn't he?
But … but … how else would they have saved Pacific Ocean City and Beloved Character Actress Margot Martindale?
I think you are seeing this from an odd perspective. Todd isn't attempting to 'select' her romantic partners. Todd hasn't even seen Emily in 6 years. It is likely Emily has slept with plenty of other people in that time. Todd isn't particularly concerned with that.
But as others have noted, what upset Todd wasn't that…
I agree. Don's mission statement was always "move forward", whereas Bojack seems to be locked in stasis. Every attempt to be "better" is short-lived. He really doesn't have much to show for his life.
Todd didn't do anything shitty to Emily. At all. Just because he didn't want to be pressured into sex doesn't make it an act against Emily. He can't express the way he feels about her in the same way that Emily wants to express her feelings to Todd. That is in no way a betrayal.
Look, she made a mistake, a wonderful sexy mistake, and she admits as much to Todd. She felt stung by yet another Todd rejection, and so she needed some validation. Doesn't mean that Bojack should have acted on his impulse. Emily probably could have used a friend more than a hookup.
In what way is Todd standing up for his friend's well-being and comfort "controlling" her?
I think Paul does a great job playing the perennially upbeat Todd - his enthusiasm seems limitless - but I agree that I'd love to see Todd doling out more speeches like this, and it would be fantastic if the writers continue to give him some heavier material, or at least make Todd a little more well-rounded. I really…
I loved the artwork during Ana's recollection of her car crashing in the ocean. Also, Raul Esparza is absolutely delightful as Ralph Stilton. I think he should also be noted for Achievements In Voice Acting.
Up for Best Original Screenplay - A River Runs Through It: The Weezer Story
They made it pretty clear by having Roger, er, I mean, Mr. Peanutbutter pulling Bojack out of the pool.
I'm watching Hulu right now. They have been flirting with Showtime, you can add the channel to your package for a few bucks more. But I guess some of Showtime's series - or a least their early seasons - have been added to their basic content, so they just bumped Homeland into my 'shows that might interest you' queue.…
No, I got it on the first watch, and thought it odd that everyone seemed to think the hearse driver was somehow a suspect in Andrea's killing. She was pretty stupid to throw a lit cigarette on the ground next to several gas tanks. I probably would have told her the same thing.
