He was so heartbreaking! Even more incredible is that one of the sound guys on the show was tweeting about how for sound recording purposes there's one scene towards the end where they asked him to only say his lines but not make any other noise. This despite the fact his character is crying and stuff the whole time.

Madds and Hugh were both phenomenal. I've never been more afraid of Will than in that therapy scene with Lecter where he kind of tells him to cut the bullshit and only lie by omission.

AND HANNIBAL GOT TO PET A LAMB.

Watch the dinner scene again at the start when you get a chance and pay careful attention to Hannibal's phrasing. :)

In the dinner with Will, Jack and Hannibal, Hannibal says that Chilton *HAS* many victims besides the dead. Rather than "had" of course.

I didn't ice fish it and the presentation wasn't as fancy, sadly. It did taste good though!

Also, the Hannigram bait images were posted a few days ago along with some other promo photos. Tumblr did indeed freak the fuck out.

HE WAS REFERRED TO IN THE PRESENT TENSE. HE LIIIIVVVVESSSSS!

Didn't go fancy this week sadly. Just some pasta and salmon. A few weeks ago I went out to a Nice Dinner though on Friday. For the season finale I'm planning to get steak frites from a nice place near my apartment and a nice bottle of wine. :D

Molly just stuffed a minus inside an A and then sewed that A inside a horse…

Is it? I can't recall that being a standard thing in TV/movies (never mind real life). Surely the plan would be for people to not be firing guns in such a place, so why bother with the extra expense?

This didn't seem contrived to me. The last words anyone says on screen before the frame up starts is Jack saying they need to bring in both Chilton and Hannibal for questioning.

Running gag where once a season Chilton gets injured horribly.

I don't know that he's worn that particular jacket and hat before. but we've seen him in similar ensembles before. Jack at the totem pole tableau: http://screencapped.net/tv/…

I rewatched a little bit ago and it's… not clear to me? The gun fires and everything goes slow motion. There's a shot from behind Chilton and a bunch of blood sprays out and hits the camera… So I think out the back? The next shot is Alana hitting the deck and then Chilton falling over with the cheek wound.

One serious injury per season at this rate. He is going to be SO AMAZINGLY SHITTY to Hannibal once he's under Chilton's control. I can't wait to see it.

I didn't know it was Bryan Fuller or had Laurence Fishburne on it till the night the pilot aired and AV Club and others reviewed it really well. I'd written it off when I'd heard of it a few weeks prior as "They're doing WHAT on NBC? You have GOT to be kidding me."

I loved how noir that clarinet playing through some of those Chilton scenes felt. The show's always leaned a little 40s in its fashion sense (Jack in particular) and in certain other ways. That was a nice way of toying with that idea. Brian Reitzell's been completely amazing this season. Remarkable scores that elevate

Yeah, I had to kind of replay the sequence of shots in my head during the commercial break as I was too shocked in the moment. She definitely grabs Jack and then it cuts to a shot of her reaching inside his jacket and pulling the gun out and we see it in silouhette before BANG.

She yanked it from Jack's holster. She wasn't carrying her own.
