Literally the only reason I'm not wishing they'd cancelled it at the moment is that I'm totally cool with the surviving cast and crew having jobs for the next production cycle.
But artistically…. Show's dead. Worse than really.

Note that I would be TOTALLY WILLING to keep following the show if Ganz or Mckenna was stepping up as showrunner. Someone who very deeply understands why the show works for the people it works for.

The cast of West Wing was still on the show in S5 and beyond for the most part. It took them at least 2 seasons to recover, and in some reasonable people's opinions the show never recovered from losing Sorkin's voice.

Distraught. I thought we'd survived by the skin of our teeth to get at least something resembling a proper 4th season.

Actually, "history of the room" isn't that bad a thing to be thinking about maybe… I can definitely think of some fun episode ideas that involve iterations of study groups who meet in that room over the years.

I have difficulty finding words to describe the joy that fish stick theatre is bringing me now that DEP caps are up…

I kind of wondered the same thing, but at the same time feel like sweating it too much is over-thinking things a bit.
