Thank you. That's a really good response. Well thought out and well made points all around. You didn't lose your cool and you showed me a perspective I can respect. I wish more commenters had your eloquence.

I didn't delete my own comment. It was removed by moderators, the appointed judges of acceptable taste.

What would I do with moderator privileges? I am completely against the removal of comments.

I'm all for being called on it via replies posted by other commenters. Removing my comment is censorship, and I've been a victim of it.

Safe spaces are where easily offended people can go and be "safe" from ideas which conflict with their own. You seem to think I got my comeuppance, but we all lose when censorship is invoked in any way.

The angry mob has spoken and the offending material has been removed.
Make sure not to make comments in poor taste. They will be censored by better people.

He likes the expletives.

Ha!

We pick and choose.

We pick and choose whose deaths to be respectful of here.

Unless some right-winger dies. Then feel free to tell that fucking cocksucker to burn in fucking hell. Right?

He's not a homosexual, so he probably wouldn't like that.

"Good fucking riddance you fucking piece of shit, I hope you rot in fucking hell!" - A.V. Club commenters on the death of someone they disagreed with.

They have to STAR women. Or it isn't "fair" or something.
