Ahem, It's a skyscraper, thank you very much.

Seconded on AC2's ending. In fact, the same goes for the series' whole sci-fi genetic memory story overlay. I have no idea why Ubisoft thought that just "psuedo-parkour and conspiracies in detailed historical urban environments" was not enough of a hook to make a cool game.
Bulls on Parade is a really fun song to sing at karaoke.
KROND.
Yeah, that was my problem with Assassin's Creed II.
It's almost like a challenge to us, the public. The more ridiculous the adaptation gets, the more morbidly-curious we get to see how the fuck they thought they could pull it off.
What's worse
this, or the upcoming Uncharted movie? It seems like that video game adaptation is completely uncessary/stupid for the opposite reason: it's already too much like a blockbuster movie to really merit actually being turned into one.
It's "OO". As in, "OO-OO, AH-AH".
I can't believe I'm saying this but it's worth an attempted watch — if you like trainwrecks. Just see how long you last. It's dire on a cosmic level.
Hey
At least it lasted longer than Secret Girlfriend.
Don't forget the ol' "I never got good grades because I hate AUTHORITY, man" variation.
"Beatnikiness" is fun to say out loud.

ON THE MOON OF ENDOR
Amen, Mr. Quick. Jim's douche attitude was tolerable only when he had no power to change anything. Now that he has his dream girl and his assistant-manager-whatever job, there's no balance. Seriously, would anyone actually want to watch a show where "normal" Jim (and by extension, Pam) has to deal with the morons who…
Dane Cook went to my high school. I think I win.
I really liked how the wiimote doubled as a cellphone in the first No More Heroes. Sure, the finishing swings were cool and satisfying and all, but that's the implementation that always stuck with me.
He's pretty good on Party Down, too. He kind of comes off like an asshole-ier version of his F&G character.
For some reason
I love the photo. A bored-looking military palooka shooting a shotgun (with a weird spark-y blast? My knowledge of firearms comes entirely from the original Doom and Uncharted 2) in a completely nondescript warehouse/factory/garage set. It's just dripping with Boll's craftsmanship.
As a 'young person' who interned at a major American newspaper to help them develop their social media strategy (lol at how that turned out), I can confirm that yes, marketing drones really do take all of this stuff seriously. Or as Amelie (I believe) once put it, "they love treading through bullshit to generate the…
More fine work from DICE
Now I'd really, really like to see a Mirror's Edge 2. Flawed game, of course, but I sensed a latent greatness in it.
