One of my favorite things about this show was the relationship between Mal and Zoe, and my favorite moment in the episode is when they're on the train about to pull the job (even after they discover the Alliance guards are there, which Mal pretends not to care about), and we get the following conversation:

And blockbusters that scream "we're only doing this because of the paycheck" *aren't* "calculation in commerce"?

I can't argue with that sentiment, but if nothing else, "Back in Action" at least erased the horrible stench that was "Space Jam".

Maybe it's a shitty idea, but with rare exceptions, that's better than no ideas at all. Plus, it's nowhere near as much money as, say, "Battleship".

I like that sequence you're talking about, but I think the rest of the film is pretty good too. It avoids the ponderousness of many period adaptations, and it's Edward Norton's best acting in a good long while. I do wish Anthony Wong had more to do, though.

Never saw "The Majestic". I must admit I kind of liked "Finding Forrester" because of the performances, even though I admit it gets manipulative.
