I agree. I don't even watch USA all week until 2 min before the show starts because I want to avoid the spoilery promos at all costs. I couldn't get to my remote in the WR time it would have required to beat that promo last night.

Sorry about the spoiler.

That's a possibility. I liked her character quite a bit as a mother figure for Neal. With all the daddy issues they've cultivated for Neal, it seems like the quasi-deadbeat mom might be an equally interesting topic.

Maybe it's because I don't watch a ton of TV and none of this week's guest stars rang the teensiest cowbell for me, but the case of the week did not do it at all for me. The poor, emotionally unfulfilled heiress who wants to give all the insurance money to charity was a little hard to stomach.

I don't think anyone is claiming that the Neal/Peter are *exactly* like Sherlock/Watson. Both Collar and Sherlock are crime/mystery shows with an odd couple—and as much as that term has been beaten to death, a bromance—at their center. Much of the appeal of both shows (at least for me) stems from the great chemistry…

It makes absolutely no sense that the bureau would demote a senior, loyal agent while a formerly fugitive criminal gets his sweet, cushy job back.

… aaaaand now I'll have the Willis/Aiello rendition of Swinging on a Star in my head for the rest of the week.

True. Perhaps it's not the lack of medical accuracy I'm most disappointed in.

To be fair, I had *really* high expectations of the Hounds of Baskerville because it was one of my favorite stories growing up. The same might be true for this WC episode: after last week's setup my expectations for the follow-through may have been too high. I will need to reset to the trusty old "hope for the best…
