As I watched the dream sequence, I wasn't smiling. I was mortified. One thing this episode made clear is there won't be any happy endings in this show. That time has passed. The fact that the fish was there was cute, though.

America simply can't be mean enough to capture the original's spirit. They'll make Mark too lovable and change Jez's too stupid to actually be a sociopath.
Difficult People is an interesting contrast to Broad City. They're both NYC zeitgeists, and well written, but the latter has an overarching feeling of bland optimism and romanticism while Difficult People truly explores what it means to live in NYC and be a small fish suffering from the self-loathing bites from a big…
Jesus Christ man, upgrade to John Darnielle
Episode 4 was fucking incredible. This is seriously the most underrated television I've ever had the pleasure to encounter in its zeitgeist.
This is my [second to Veep] favourite comedy airing right now. Billy and Julie's charisma and partnership is excellent.
Marvel is so good at casting.
If you can't be handsome, might as well be handy.
Perfect casting.
Fucking A I'd record any conversation with anyone who is worth more than $1 mil. Not to earn money, mind, but because they have the balls to think they're above the line.
I liked BvS. And while I found her Diana character irritatingly boring, I really enjoyed her WW. She exhibited a glee for the fight that you don't see much, and it was a nice contrast to Batman and Superman's brooding.
The main character of a show not telling a demanding and thirsty audience about his important plot points because he's pissed at them is fascinating. I love that.
Well, he's never bragged about being either socially competent or emotionally stable.
TToI/Veep is the first thing that came to mind regarding this article. At the end of every Thick episode, people are emotionally and mentally scarred, and you think people will go home to self-harm. Hell, some outros even have characters commenting on this.
It's really disappointing, as the guy is legitimately talented.
Always bloody Chicago. Why not Toronto?
I liked this article, even if I cringe at just the image of his face.
Well, Community deserved to go. The others I can't speak for, but Powerless and The Good Place are certainly promising.
I think JLD is the most talented comedic actress we've had for the past 40 years, and she's still going.
Odd that there's absolutely no mention of ASMR. Not that I support or watch that kind of thing, but it's hard to argue that it's the most popular [and by that I mean ridiculously popular] genre and viewership for women content providers.
