I agree on Walt's 180 degree turn being too jarring.  He's worked far too hard to just retire, and it flies in the face of everything we've seen the character do this season.  And it's not just about the money of course, it's about the respect and power, and Walt taking genuine pride in his work and expressing himself…

I can't possibly see Walt making it on his own though, he still has no street connections and has always had to rely on others to build the distribution network/work with the actual dealers, cartel members and foot soldiers.  For Walt to truly make it on his own he will have to do some massive recruiting which means…
