There's a very well documented history of critical condescension towards comedy film. Bridesmaids, one of the most universally beloved and groundbreaking comedies in recent memory, only mustered a 75 on metacritic (despite it contributing a great deal to the pop culture "narrative", something those dudes love).

While I'm glad that no comedies cracked your top 10 best films of the year, it's good to know you're not above alotting the genre more than half of your worst of list.
