The music is especially hilarious in this episode, I agree. Also, the use of CGI in the next episode (I'll avoid a spoiler here) is readily apparent and really takes you out of what you're seeing, though thankfully it's over relatively quickly.

Comparing any of these shows is like comparing apples to herpes. They are all good on their own merit, and stating one is better in a matter-of-fact fashion is simply false. Start a sentence with 'in my opinion' if you want discussion.

I honestly want to cry. Someone is buying enough of these records that they can afford to make videos with some semblance of production value.

What the HELL was that?? I'm going to go stab my ears out, brb

So I am completely out of touch with what can be defined as 'popular'… oh well. I base what I consider to be popular on what a band gets paid to perform most of the time, and anything more than 'free beer and some gas money' constitutes popularity.
It's ironic that Job For a Cowboy and The Devil Wears Prada were

I actually have to redact here… the Ben Franklin one with Jack Black was the worst. So you get 3 points.

But she was in the worst one. If she were in the George Washington one we'd have ourselves a debate here.

talk about a loaded question.
I just don't think she's attractive. I know she's been in such amazing movies as the Happening and Yes Man and all though, so I am probably wrong.

Yes. Those are all top 40 bands that are getting regular MTV rotation.
You know what I meant. This just seemed a little 'tip of the iceberg' to me.

I…
Hate this woman. Doe eyes and all. And this interview shows she has nothing of interest to say about anything.
Fire away, nerd-crush obsessives.

maybe it's just me…
But I could go to blabbermouth and read about bands that already have a massive degree of notoriety.
I understand it's a slow month, but dig deeper, for fuck's sake!

The entire episode is littered with public murders/shootings. And the one before it with Bobby in the train store.

I read the million-page dissertation most 'Tony is dead' campers quote as the gospel, and I'm still not convinced. I was at first, but the longer that thing goes on and the more sure (to the point of cockiness) the author gets with himself, the less I want to believe it (or care) out of spite. So my official stance is

yes, yes.
'But good news! I'm tentatively going to be bringing this feature back after the fall season settles in (probably in early November). We'll be tackling season three one episode at a time, and we'll hopefully take the series at that pace until its end.'

Maybe I'm going to the wrong theatre.

She's interesting because she is still what Eric once was, ruthless.

not to nitpick, n8, but it's 'Tara'. That being said, it does look like Eric is going to drain Sookie (we got the shot of Bill begging him to let her drink his blood, so as to not let her die, and Eric walking in the sun).
I'd just like to know: is anyone else just kind of waiting out these next 2 weeks? I really lost

Oh man, the low-rent Olsen twin? She looked like an alien had sex with a popsicle.
I'd put them on equal ground in terms of ugliness to inability to act ratio.

Xavier: Renegade Angel was…
…such a letdown, in terms of uncomfortable comedy. Considering the source, most of the show was such a miss.

The best was the bootleg Beat Kids, 'Hit Children'. In fact, that whole episode is by far my favorite. War never solved anything.
