…dini's Doc Ice. That's who.

OK, I just skimmed the comments, and I didn't see anyone mention the inexplicable rapper near the end. Then the host is like "wow, it's Doc Ice." Has anyone ever heard of Doc Ice?

I assumed the phrase "ask for raises" referred to jobs with small enough companies that they don't have annual reviews. That was like my job in college, where I didn't get a raise because I didn't ask. In every job I've had with annual reviews, you'd get laughed at for asking for a raise, male or female. You get what

Haven't watched the video, but the article kind of shoots the argument in the foot, too. If women are statistically less likely to ask for raises, isn't it obvious that they would be paid less?

I realize I'm super late here, but the best part of the Britney Shears Hair Salon was that all of the model heads in the window had shaved heads.

I've been reading the Heir to the Empire trilogy for the first time since middle school. I'm on the second book, and it's not holding up the way I imagined. Thrawn is still good (and well-written I think), but the plotting is pretty shoddy. There's not a detail brought up that doesn't come into play later. It

Sugar Ray had a song on the Escape From LA soundtrack (which was just a year or 2 before Fly hit big). It's actually pretty heavy, so I got a kick out of playing it for my friends and blowing their minds when I told them who it was.

Step on it, Brandon Marshall! Brandon Marshall's gaining on us!

…he has so many names.

Canadian Yarn Art. It sells itself. Now get out there and sell it.

I've got to go to work…work…work.

Are you laying down fucking flute tracks?!

Ugh, I hate Beatrix Potter. I had fond memories of Peter Rabbit from childhood, but attempting to read her stuff to my 2-year-olds is maddening. I read them Peter Rabbit and the Tailor of Glouchestershire (or whatever) on successive nights, and vowed no more.

I'm partial to Dave Beeth-oven and Dennis Frued.

I got really into the first AOI when it came out. So the nostalgia factor tips in that direction for me, but I just got Bionix recently, and I think it's a bit better. Of course, Grind Date outdoes both of them.

WHERE IS LARRY SANDERS!?!? When he died, they announced it was coming. They recently said Sept. 23 (http://www.avclub.com/artic…. I don't see it on the list anywhere.

I liked both of these comments, assuming at least one of them was a Last Action Hero reference.

What about Leto II, God-Emperor of Arakis? He seemed like a good guy, what with turning into a sandworm and leading humanity down the non-extinction path.

I don't know if you saw my edit, but it looks like they both started coming together sometime around 1998-1999, so it's actually hard to say who was first. Oh also,
*slap*
Take it, Sally.

Handsome Boy Modeling School's first album came out in 1999, Deltron 3030 was 2000. To quote someone (I forget who), "That must've involved some of that slingshotting-round-the-sun time-travelling shit."
