there's a TON of scenes in Unforgiven….most involving Gene Hackman kicking RIchard Harris around.

pretty much 3/4 of Godfather II is up there.

favorites…
the phone scene in it's a wonderful life is amazing. I must've seen it 25 times and am breathless throughout.

I actually saw a beatles TV interview where they mentioned new material and a harrison original "set on you" was talked about. that's how early he was working on that song.

"character development" is absolutely the wrong way to put it, but I get what you're saying.

Mac's Mom is the bartender in a constantly running commercial…can't think of what for…

i don't see how it's possible to love paul simon but hate graceland. just b/c chevy chase was in a video for -arguably- the least-great song on the album?

i saw her at a free show Best Buy put on in Boston. didn't even know it was happening, just happend to be walking by. fantastic, great summer evening.

as for my answer:

status update.

holy shit, indeed.

my personal favorite: "He's gone from a lovable Johnny 5-type robot to an evil Hal….NOT Holbrook!"

Lepidus is there to fly the plane. I think they took him so Not-Locke couldn't fly off the island.

Dave,

i would say the same. it isn't just that the guy made me laugh so consistently. it was just an entirely new way of approaching things…from the everyday, ordinary observations, to the way language evolves, and questioning everything.
