You should read the latest couple issues of Astro City. They're the story of a woman being recruited and working at a JLU-equivalent's emergency call center.

Jordo, McDuffie's 2007 run of Fantastic Four with Black Panther and Storm filling in for Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman is a pretty good read.
Those are actually two different stories. One where the kids become adults and the adults turn into kids and another where the kids and adults are segregated into two different dimensions. The first one was called Sins of Youth and was by Peter David. World Without Grown Ups was written by Todd Degazo.
These are, I think, improvements on the original.
Technology aside, there's also the matter that they found it buried on Mars. Von Danikan-esque evidence of aliens in the solar system would be explosive enough today; consider what it would be like in the future when we could track them down and ask them what the hell they were up to and demand restitution or child…
I used to be on the receiving end of that mistake when I was an astronomy grad student. It usually comes from ignorance of what the words mean so it's not hard to shrug off.
Speaking of young heroes, I was just thinking that, with its ever-ballooning cast, the show could have added the gang from the forgotten Young Heroes in Love series in the third season. And speaking of 1,000,000, why not the future Titans from the DC 1,000,000 crossover too?
I don't want to see the format again as a finale but I could see using a tweaked version for a Top Chef Fight Club spin-off. There certainly seemed to be a few volunteers at the previous-season Top Chef table.
The promos were fun. Andy Cohen grinning like a goon in the middle with Brooke standing awkwardly on one side with her tattoos poking out from under the sleeves of her ill-suiting dress and Kristen working her ensemble with a professional model stance and pout on the other.
I recall a review of Glitter (released Sept 21, 2001) that noted that a shot of the New York skyline including the towers was the only effective thing in the entire movie.
You'd be surprised how many situations hurling roofs can successfully resolve.
I wish we could have seen the Leaguers more often. The show excelled at showing the various generational relationships and the legacy aspect was a major DC comics idea that JLU didn't do much with.
The judges did seem to be looking for something in a specific idiom, though. Stephan handled the fryer just fine too and look how he turned out.
I do wonder how Kristen would have done in the fried chicken competition, though. Doesn't really seem in her wheelhouse.
I was worried for Brooke initially, but the editing pushed her too hard and I realized it was a fake-out. They did a better job at judge's table which made elimination seem a toss-up among all three.
BBC Radio 4 occasionally runs a batch of eight to ten Big Finish episodes in their science fiction stories slot. I haven't been able to discern a pattern so I rely on the fan grapevine to let me know when they come up in rotation.
The best place to start is the series of 8th Doctor audio adventures the BBC is streaming free right now at http://www.bbc.co.uk/progra…. The first one is about done its week-long availability, but it's continuity heavy so, the second, Situation Vacant is a better place to start.
Well, I don't recognize either of them and I'm not invested. Every time Mal's on-screen all I can think is "who is that guy?" because we've never been given the slightest hint of an explanation as to what his deal is and why he suddenly appeared on the team? Supporting the team? On permanent monitor duty as punishment…
In other elizabeth-binder-doesn't-understand-food topics, 1) white chocolate and ginger are not an at all unusual pairing. You just need a little citrus to pull them together. and 2) caramel sauce for seafood is a traditional Vietnamese preparation. Fish sauce and ginger are used cut the sweetness.
