Yup. In a matter of hours Don Draper became totally deconstructed. He will not rise again.

Well, according to the ship's compact, he gets 100 pieces of eight for the loss of an eye, so his spirits are probably buoyed by that…

Harry's life promptly descends into a constant one man orgy of chocolate, public exposure and shame.

My father always told me "Don't shit where you eat." One day I asked him what exactly he ment. He said "I mean don't have sex with the girls in your office. Don't do it. Ever. You're in love? You can't live without her? Fine, then quit your job and marry her. You can not sexualize the office and be successful."

hahahahahahahahahahaha

I'm with you on all of that but Ted. Fuck Teddy. He's a slimy little shit who is exactly as amoral as Don, but without balls.

…And God bless them for it.

I'd probably say something by Handel, but really it doesn't matter. I'll be dead and I won't give a shit.

I always thought the funniest line of the series was season 2, episode 8 where the biker played by W. Earl Brown is eulogizing his dead biking friend:  "Then there was that time, we was comin' down the BIG hill… well, I hit a patch of ice, and went down, and Jessie comes barrelin' down around that hairpin… he seen me

No it isn't full of judgement and suspicion, you've projected judgement and suspicion upon it. I've contextualized my statement enough to remove any misogynist interpretations, and the suggestion that because I have simply written "crying rape" I have a "contempt for women" is ludicrous.

How? I wasn't even referring to women, but to society's overeager use of the word as a catch all for any uncomfortable sexualized situation.

Oh Sally absolutely did the right thing. Much, much much better safe than sorry. And the kid deserved an ass beating. I disagree with the assumption that rape was imminent.

…I just looked it up. I didn't remember the scene where he went back into the apartment drunk. That's pretty much rape. Objection withdrawn. http://www.slate.com/blogs/…

I never got that Pete raped the au pair. I thought he just came on to her.

I just don't think the kid was on path to rape her. He was being profoundly rude and disrespectful, but boorishness and assholery does not a rape act make. Crying "RAPE!" over any and all unwanted sexual advances creates a Boy Who Cried Wolf situation, wherein people become so desensitized to the word that it loses

Don brings it up while on the phone with Harry. Why Harry told Don, I dunno…
