I'm pretty sure that, whenever one of The 100 writers suggests a story idea, and someone else says it might be too dark, they're like, "Well, now we HAVE to do it."

Raven was looking through the City of Light's code last episode and made an off-hand comment that ALIE had taken the people of Polis.
So you're saying its more about the tone and style of their conversation than anything to do with the actual content?
"What I mean is a movie that’s devoid of anything remotely childish or immature. Not so much made for adults as populated by adults, and featuring an unmistakably grown-up, no-nonsense sensibility."
I figure Savage probably told his flunkies to hang their bodies from a tower with a big sign saying, "UP YOURS, HUNTER!"
Or being at ground zero of an exploding time machine ends up hurling you through space and time. I'm certain there must be a dozen or more time travel stories with that plot.
It was established in the 1950's episode that turning people into human/bird hybrids is just something that meteorites like the one that hit ancient Egypt do. To bring in Thanagar, all you have to do is say their home planet is made of the same stuff as those meteorites, so everyone there has gone through the same…
I'm not so sure. The way that scene was shot, with them mostly in the background and us getting a good look at Octavia's face, it seemed like it was put there to make Octavia think about that's something she can never have now that Lincoln's dead.
My guess is that, after Raven fought back against the chip, and ALIE had to take "full control" to bring her in line, she's been doing the same thing with all her converts. So Jasper in this episode has got the same deal going as Raven had in "Nevermore", where she could remember Finn just fine in order to throw his…
There has to be a reason they specified Ontari was brain dead, instead of having her be DEAD dead, after all.
I have a theory that everyone who still has a City of Light chip inside them when ALIE's taken down will die, and with everyone in the Grounder capital dead, and Skaikru now counting its population in the single digits, all the grudges left over from the Ground/Sky War will seem pretty irrelevant.
I get the impression that, ever since things went bad with Raven, ALIE has made that "give me full control of your brain" thing part of her standard recruitment. That's presumably why Jasper can talk to Raven and Monty about all the bad stuff they've been through, instead of having it erased from his memory.
Last episode, Raven was looking through the City of Light's code and mentioned that ALIE had taken the population of Polis, which would presumably include Ontari.
The real problem is that episode 3x04 didn't really do enough to sell us on Pike and Bellamy believing the Grounder army was an imminent threat. They had plenty of reason to be distrustful of it, but the leap from that to "we MUST attack them before they attack us" really needed some concrete detail to make them think…
See, I think Lexa making that deal with Mt. Weather WAS her thinking about the long term situation.
Is the difference between a B and a B+ really so big that it upsets you?
I miss Season 1 comic relief Baltar. When are we gonna get that guy back?
I have a theory that Lee was never actually fat. He just had a REALLY bad allergic reaction to whatever they were processing their food out of.
A magazine called Goop doing an issue all about sex is either really terrific name/subject matter synergy, or really horrible name/subject matter synergy. I'm not sure which.
Well, they DID end Season 1 by leveling a large chunk of the city, killing hundreds of people, and I thought that ended up working pretty well. Granted, the death toll here is at least 20 times worse, but still . . .
