I just have this worry that Octavia & Lincoln are going to take this Romeo & Juliet thing they have going on all the way to R&J's grisly conclusion.

They've said the idea with Legends of Tomorrow is to do a Fargo and have Season 2 be set in the same verse with a couple of the same characters, but have a largely new cast and a completely different plot. So whatever problems Season 1 has, they could very easily be jettisoned for Season 2.

That's how I always watch the CW's shows (well, it's how I watch all my shows since I work in the evenings and haven't bothered with a cable connection).

I'm REALLY concerned that Pike killing Octavia might be a catalyst for that.

I watched the first season on Netflix, and enjoyed large chunks of it, but given how most of the plot lines ended up, it seemed pretty clear they were great at setting up stories, but didn't have much of a plan for where they would go and mostly gave them pretty anticlimactic conclusions.

"Miss Hoover, movies are a nice break, but couldn't we be doing something a little more challenging?"

I don't know about boring, but I'm not sure if the concept can really support an entire series, even a mid-season length one.

I love that her idea for what to do about Pike ended up being their actual plan.

One theory I've seen is that, however the radiation resistance works on this show, people who were children when the bombs went off were much more likely to survive, and a bunch of children in a post-apocalyptic society with few if any adults around are gonna come up with some weird, Lord of the Flies shit.

Oh my god, YES!

Jeffrey Dean Morgan's portrayal of The Comedian in Watchmen really endeared me to a character that, in the graphic novel, just felt too deliberately despicable to be interesting.

If things heat up between him and the Russian woman on the island this season, I'm hoping we get Felicity expressing this sentiment again.

I said this in the comments for the latest Vampire Diaries review, but I wish they'd just switch to doing a Bonnie spinoff instead.

I think I saw somewhere that Stephen Amell said he might leave after Season 5, which would presumably end the show unless they retool to make Thea the lead.

I still love that moment in Season 2 when Diggle and Felicity find out Oliver has a SECOND secret lair he never told them about.

You're telling me. I mean, I suppose I COULD stop watching The Vampire Diaries, but I've stuck with it this long, it's hard to give it up.

Really, The CW is more like a cable network that happens to be broadcast than anything else.

As long as Jensen and Jarod are still buds and want to keep working together, I don't think that show will ever die.

Technically, they still have a new show Containment that won't premiere for a few more weeks, and whether that will be renewed for a second season obviously hasn't been decided yet.

If anything, choosing a racial minority for their mad science experiments ties it more into how ACTUAL unethical medical tests were often conducted.
