I thought they were a lot better than the star wars prequels. Those prequels were the boringest ever.

As someone already mentioned, they kill a dog, which was the worst part (for me). It's one of those kinda gross and dirty murder movies, like Henry, Portrait..

I like those fables, the ones I've heard, at least. The rest aren't so great though.

I think he was trying to point out the lack of verisimilitude in film and TV most of the time, by using a movie with a group of mixed race friends as an example, because most people associate/socialize with similarly backgrounded folks.
