Portlandia is my go to I HAVE A COLD AND I AM DYING watch. It requires nothing from me. I know I will not laugh, I know I will not cry. Nothing in it is going to enrage me and make me threaten to leave the country. I can fall asleep in a puddle of my own misery and know I will not miss a thing.

"98% of rapes aren't tried" You know why? Because 97 percent of federal cases and 94 percent of state cases end in plea bargains. Most cases of ANYTHING are never tried.

Push the button, Frank.
I say this when I need someone to hurry the fuck up and finish something, and I always say it in elevators.

YES! It's made from cultured cream and if I could find a way to justify eating it like a wedge of cheese, I would. I got it at Trader Joe's. **NEW ITEM** It's imported from Brittany, y'all.

I too had breakfast for supper. French toast with that ridiculous French butter.

And "The Psychiatrists"from start to finish, but in particular, Basil and the ladder slowly falling backward into the night after being caught by Sybil "checking the window." I cannot even think about it without laughing so hard I cry.

Like a damn hell ass king!

It's in the Talmud. Thou shalt make and eat obscene amounts of latkes, and don't forget the sour cream and applesauce.

I don't cook on Saturdays, so it was In n Out for lunch. Double double, baby!
Then for a late evening snack, I had homemade bread leftover from Friday smeared with cultured butter from France. I swear, I could eat a block of that butter like an ice cream sandwich.

What if someone reads that and really thinks I see a “comedic masterwork” in Nailed? They’ll never trust me on a comedy again!

If I am remembering right, the season finale of The Americans took place during Reagan's "Evil Empire" speech, and that is where the first episode of Deutschland 83 began.
For me, this has been a companion piece for The Americans.

Caitlin, you were a good fit for this wonderful little surprise of a show, and I enjoyed your reviews. Well done!

Fargo Season Two: How I Met Your Murder

“You killed her. I know it was you, Tischbier!” "Yes, we all do. He handed Martin a shovel and told him to bury the body."

He is doing the same thing on his Deutschland 83 review. He's in obvious misery at having to watch an hour of decent television, then write a sloppy review. His destitution of insight is monumental and all encompasing regarding these two shows. It's a disservice to the program and the viewers to have a critic so

The ring! I assumed he had it on him when they absconded him from the east. And I think he had it on him because he was planning on asking his girlfriend to marry him.

I couldn't agree more. While this doesn't have the layers upon layers of depth of The Americans, it is it's own story and its own thing. And I think that thing is outstanding so far. Especially for a first season. This episode was one full of gasps and holy shits (!!) for me.

Grilled chicken thighs marinated in chili paste and lime juice, and stir fried baby bok choy (the vegetable, not the DJ) with shitake mushrooms and a soy sauce concotion.

I thought the Gone guy was Kate's husband, too!
