That whole conversation is what I love about the show. The quick, wickedly clever and silly humour, delivered to a tee.

"Can I just say that Somewhere was terrible?"
You sure can say it. And no one will stop you.

Well, that and a lot of the jokes were a lot less sharp.

Who else did you think it was?!

The Dinner Party is one of my favourite half hours of all time. Add it to your list.

Entertainment is probably my least favourite on the album.

"in my day job"

Ow, that's gotta hoit!

Shut it down!

Yeah, the sentiment of a QUITTER!

The mocking of "Donna Reed" may just be one of my favourite GG moments. It's so goofy and fun and reveals so much about their relationship.

I love that scene with Emily. She shows some humanity and it's clear she pays a lot more attention to her daughter's life than Lorelai would like to admit.

Also, from later episodes, I always thought Rachel was pretty, but not "Elle Macpherson pretty". She was also kinda dull.

Ken Park also had a guy masturbating while choking himself, rape, incest and a guy getting off because he killed his grandparents. I really don't think it's the gold standard in this topic.

TV's best comedy? Ok Amelie…sure.

You shut your whore mouth. Streep is a national treasure.

SURPRISE! THERE'S AN AIRPLANE HERE TO SEE YOU!

Pete does try to be done, but then again there similarities are seen in the episode where their two storylines echo. Pete is having an affair with a neighbour much like Don is and both have had their mistresses talking to their wives unsupervised.

I could so relate to the inescapable feeling of dread. He's a slimeball but I couldn't help but feel for him when he went to get the cotton balls as quickly as possible to prevent the girl from saying anything to Trudy.

I have the most appropriate boner right now.
