I saw a young Malcolm Gladwell. And, I'm with m0nit0rman's sentiment.

It's Emily Prager's turn in the spotlight. The only credited cast member (even featured players) to never appear in an episode.

They actually played all four episodes at the same time. They figured they would get quadruple the ratings.

I like how car people will tell you that the cheapest, least-flashy car of today is far more economical, much safer, easier to maintain, and more reliable, relatively speaking, than the most expensive luxury car from the 50's, 60's and 70's.

That, is a great idea.

Run, Groot, Run!

Yes, but will it include semi-obscure soundtrack hits from the 70's?

More importantly, will he then take off?

Seth MacFarlane's episode got him his ill-fated Oscar night hosting gig. How could it have been "woeful?" Remember Ryan Lochte? "Goon?" I'm not his biggest fan, but he was quite good.

I recently read a comment on the Steve Hoffman Music Forums which compared listening to mono vs. stereo with watching a black and white movie vs. a color movie. Sometimes it just makes it different, not better or worse.

Sorry, I was watching Sgt. Bilko.

No, quite the opposite. Getting up on stage and performing with stage
fright is one thing, and that's admirable. It's the never being able to
overcome it, which is what was reported.
That's what led me to
speculate that she might have come to realize the related stress from

I was just reading Jan's obit in the newspaper (get off of my lawn) and learned she suffered severe stagefright, and was never, ever comfortable working in a live environment. Honest question, I promise: Then why did she choose the profession she did? Seems to me like a airline pilot with a crippling fear of flying.

"Start an IV of D5W, stat!"

Try being from an earlier generation, with CBS's "rural" lineup of Beverly Hillbillies, Green Acres, and Petticoat Junction. On network TV!

You're only as old as you feel, which this morning, for some reason is about 97.

Berwyn!

Chicago suburbs here, and a little older than many of you. I loved Gilligan's Island reruns, and Saturday night Channel 9 Creature Features horror movies, but for me, it's the Adam West Batman series. And we're just weeks away from the first official DVD/BluRay release of all 3 seasons. Full disclosure: As an "adult,"

No offense to Kristen Wiig, but she's having the career I always thought Jan Hooks could have/should have had. Very sad.

Really. This is what we've come to? Sappy?
