Yeah, that's reasonable. Part of the reason I mentioned how I'm a sucker for that kind of story is that it's possible that this one went too far, but I liked it anyway.

Does Netflix swap 'em around? Because that's where I got it from.

Thank god I only review TV shows and video games, then.

It's another way the show turns on you with something that starts off like a joke, but ends up having actual emotion behind it. Really well done.

It is—and it's hilarious. Definitely worth checking out.

Yeah, I think it's theoretically possible to tell a good story with the premise of The Tommyknockers, but no version yet has managed it. And Dreamcatchers is pretty much DOA.

It wasn't a _terrible_ movie, exactly, but it was very forgettable. Similar to John Carpenter's CHRISTINE, in that the result of pairing two great horror icons together isn't as the classic you'd hope for. (Although CHRISTINE is more fun, because of Keith Gordon and the car effects.)

This goes back a bit, but when I was a kid, I loved Stephen King novels and adventure games (I still love Stephen King novels); when George Romero's adaptation of The Dark Half hit theaters, my dad took me to see it, and he also bought me the PC adaptation of the film, a standard point and click game that always died

Course not. But boy does he run like a sumbitch in that one.

Wanna get your mind blown? I enjoyed The Rocketeer, but didn't really dig the first Cap movie.

I loved The Binding Of Isaac: Rebirth because it offered an ever-changing experience that always kind of made me want to throw up.

Uh, that's neat, but it is definitely not supported by the text.

I've been playing Dragon Age Inquisition, and enjoying it, but I've hit the first major difficulty bump in the combat, which always slows me down. It's frustrating, but while I know my characters keep dying because I'm not handling combat correctly (even with the overhead view), I'm not sure what I'm doing _wrong_. So

I'll stick with Wikipedia from here on out, although I guess I'll have to pay attention to make sure Netflix doesn't swap anything around, and I hate paying attention.

No, season 3 was all about that goddamn baby. And spent the back half of its running time in Ireland. It was okay, but season 2 is the great one.

Yeeeeeeah. That's fine for those episodes, but I bristle at the idea that we ever _needed_ an explanation.

You are a strange person.

That's why I used the word "ostensibly." Derry didn't really die, just like Castle Rock didn't really die after Needful Things.

Well, I'm reading this in reverse order so I saw somebody else's comment first, but still—good catch!

Oh, good catch.
