I did realize it was a gag. If I hadn't realized it was a gag, I would not have mentioned it in the review, nor would I have mentioned the presenter. (Although I would have wondered why it was included on this episode, and not any other.)

No one's asked, and I hadn't really thought of it. (I also said I'd do the audio set, and I have no idea if that'll happen either.)
Yeah, there was some behind the scenes stuff this week. We just like keeping you on your toes here at FunCo.
Where is he? I know he was supposed to have a bit part or two in season 4, but I never spotted him.
That was clearly the implication.
No, the show is bad because after four episodes, it hasn't really gotten started. But thank you comparing me to A.A. Dowd, as that is pretty high praise.
Well, to be clear, I wasn't being defensive—if this show sounds interesting to you, definitely check it out.
The first one was a joke, the second one was a typo. Wait, maybe it was the other way around. Writing is magic!
Vermicious Knids?
Yes, feel free to ignore me. (And the critics I know who liked the show actually liked it more as it went on; it does slowly start to pick up speed, thank goodness.)
Yeah, a fair number of critics I know and respect thought it was great dumb fun. To me, it was too slow moving and scattered to be enjoyable—there are good bits, but you have to wade through tedium to get there. But your mileage may vary!
I appreciate this anecdote, despite the fact that it renders large swathes of my review irrelevant. (And come to think, Idle _was_ more prone to wandering speeches than to lists.)
I liked the sketch, I just didn't have a lot to say about it. I'm fickle like that.
"And finally there’s Hungrybox, a player from Florida who specializes in Jigglypuff."
I didn't say that Schwarzenegger made a bad scientist because he was a former bodybuilder. I said he made a bad movie scientist because he doesn't have the depth the role required of him. It's not a question of visuals; it's a question of acting talent. Some actors can convey intelligence and rich inner lives…
Had you seen other sketches before? And if so, what was it about this one that pulled you in?
I'd say one of the things that makes "On Thursday We Leave For Home" so great is that it _does_ acknowledge that the control freak is potentially being right, at least when lives were on the line. The tragedy of the episode isn't that the protagonist has always been a monster; it's that the very things which made him…
Yeah, we're all pretty disappointed.
I equate it to spicy food. Everybody has a different tolerance level.
Awww. I'm not sure I can respond to this in way that doesn't make me sound like an egotistical prat, so ALL SHALL BOW DOWN BEFORE ME AND DESPAIR. Today is Capital Letters Day!
