Oh god, the flashbacks. I should've mentioned that. They flashback to previous episodes so damn much.

Well, I didn't suggest that Hemlock Grove's awfulness is a blot on our culture. I stated it was a terrible show, and that one of the reasons why it's so terrible probably has something to do with how Netflix produces its shows. However, I have no rooting interest in Netflix failing or succeeding—I mention the network…
<shrug> If people enjoy this, more power to them. I just found it too long, and too frequently dull, to make up for crazy bits sprinkled about. (That said, if someone could make a "good parts" version of this for YouTube, it would be amazing.)
Trash should be entertaining. Otherwise it's just trash.
?
She's telling him to leave and she's nervous, and he's begging her not to shoot him; etiquette takes over. I dunno, it seemed perfectly reasonable to me.
Excuse me, I'm just going to be over here being horribly embarrassed I didn't realize Wiseman was Dr. No.
Yeah, and the album holds together better than Little Earthquakes—they're both great, but in different ways.
"The Rainbow Connection" is the first song I ever made it a point to memorize, anyway.
A girl I knew in high school made me listen to "Silent All These Years" on her headphones once. Fucking awesome album. (I also like Under The Pink, although it's less catchy.)
Oh god, I completely forgot I'd brought that up. Yeesh.
Dax also has a life outside her romantic interests. The problem with Manic Pixie Dream Girls isn't "quirk" or even their looks, but the fact that they seem to have been created specifically to allow a male character to resolve his issues and get laid in the process. They aren't people so much as psychological…
Well, Lear is prone to fits of dementia-induced rage and a kind of senile childishness. Addicts don't tend to be the most stable people in the world. (One of the things I love about this season is how far they're willing to go with Charles.)
Stockwell was fantastic on that show. I also loved his work in Blue Velvet. That's one hell of a range right there.
You would've thought I'd do research in between writing that paragraph a couple years ago, and then re-posting it. But no!
In his defense, that lady was totally into him, and she was super cute, and she was wearing a classic Trek uniform. In his position, I don't think I would've waited long enough to come up with an excuse.
Yeah, and I love how they address the weirdness of going through the daily routines with someone who looks like your wife, but isn't; there'd be this constant forgetting/reminding process that would drive you half insane.
I totally stole that from Wikipedia.
Yes. "The Rhythm of Love." It was pretty inescapable on pop radio for a while. (And while I'm mildly embarrassed I know this, I -did- have to look up the correct title. So there's that, at least.)
Of course not. "The Inner Light" is a terrific episode, though.
