Last night on Twitter, a couple of critics mentioned _something_ happening, but they were all vague; I assumed they meant a cameo or big plot twist. (I half expected Nimoy to show up again.) The Python homage was a complete shock, and a glorious one at that.

Yeah, they actually showed that scene as one of the projections at the end of the episode.

She and Sisko have good chemistry, she's more interesting than Bareil, and she's been in maybe half a dozen scenes at this point. She's fine.

It was fine? I still find the opening credits soporific; I appreciate what they were trying to do, and in theory "hushed awe" isn't a bad way to open a show, but it doesn't give me the goose bumps TNG does.

Yeah, that was excellent.

Wow. That really is so much better.

I feel legitimately bad for not loving "Hungry." My expectations might have been too high; I've seen the episode before, and liked it about as much as I do now, but maybe I wanted it to be more than just a standard MOTW entry from a different viewpoint. But it still strikes me as good, not great, like once Gilligan
