Having read some Spillane, yeah, I thought it was an odd fit for Odo.

I'm not even sure what "hate-watching" is. Although, if I'm getting the definition right, I do hate-watch with friends a lot. I've seen Blade 3, Daredevil, LXG, and Watchmen (among others) way more times than is healthy, and I've been riffing with friends every time. I strongly dislike these movies, and the intensity

I think "hate"—or "snark" or "mocking" or whatever you want to call it—is less closed off then people tend to assume. I understand where you're coming from on this, Noel, and in general, I agree with you; automatically dismissing a movie or book or show or performer has all sorts of problems, not the least of which is

It's definitely important to me to see where they go with this; I think (as other's have suggested) it could work as a sign of SDCP's fall, and I've been wondering what the odds are of Don still being at the agency at the end of the season.

Hmmm. Not sure. I think Ginsberg is really prickly in a way we haven't seen fully expressed yet; his humor covers it up most of the time, but the guy is wound very, very tight, and there are plenty of ugly ways that could manifest.

No, but I am seriously volunteering to be the straight white dude who waaaahs about clunky writing and heavy-handed moralizing on a show which has shown itself more than capable of delivering powerful, richly moving feminist messages without resorting to lectures. I feel pretty comfortable being that dude.

Wow, yeah, you totally nailed me on that one. Zack: President of the He-Man Woman Haters Club. (With Honorary G.R.O.S.S. Fellowship)

They don't even discuss it! Pete mentions it, there's moderate squirming, and everyone (but Don) is basically like, "Well, as long as we're not _forcing_ her." They aren't characters anymore; they're symbols in a play called, "This Is How The Patriarchy Is Evil."

She was saying, "I am an object of sexual desire, which is the only thing men will respond to, unless you're Don Draper, who only treats his wife as an object!" Or something to that effect.

Glad I could save you some time!

Well, I generally like going into something without knowing much about it, but in this case, yeah, I was being a huuuuuge freak.
