Yeah I guess it goes to how much dramatic license one is willing to accept, or whether realizing dramatic license has been taken affects ones enjoyment of the film. For me it didn't really matter that you probably don't get ahead in the CIA by yelling at your superiors, or being a pain in the ass - I thought the scene

"Then there are the Clueless Authority Figures, who further dampen my enthusiasm. It was during the scene in which Maya yells at the CIA’s directr (played by Kyle Chandler), demanding that he give her the surveillance teams she needs or be called before a Congressional committee for subverting the national interest…"

This was one of the best 30 Rocks ever I think. It definitely prioritized jokes over story, but the jokes were phenomenal both on their own and as call backs. Kenneth was used well (that is to say sparingly) and Jenna's C story was brief but memorable, while Tracy got to be ridiculous, which is where he's at his best.

I'm going to keep watching - I am a superhero/comics fan, and since it's going to be at least 3 years before we see Batman on the big screen again, I'm willing to settle for the homeless man's version (let's face it, they are basically doing a C- version of Batman Begins so far). That can be read as an insult I guess,

I would agree. Also, I have grown to not mind Michael Trevino (he is certainly better now than in douche mode), but him trying to project any sort of the menace that Morgan brings to Klaus was painful. Despite their fairly limited time, I would much rather have a show with Klaus, Elijah, and Rebekah than with Tyler

OMG dying at "wise old Asian man" says completely meaningless blanditudes in a serious voice.

Yes! Like 10 years younger and blonde. It was really distracting (but also kind of awesome).

Is Jacinda Barrett (Gabriel Macht's wife)'s character supposed to be Australian? Because that is, uh, a challenged American accent.

Yeah, it did a good job at showing the underlying feelings/motivations of the characters as mentioned, but it's hard to see how a colleague of Harvey's (Louis) testifying that Harvey was probably innocent, and an unsubstantiated story of how one time Harvey did something nice would be enough to get Harvey off in the

I didn't think much of either of the first two episodes, individually or collectively, but they did an okay job at doing what they were supposed to, which is just reset the status quo and set up this season's arc (which seems kind of dull). I imagine we're going to have to wait another episode or two for Mozzie to
