It's a short film, but I'm dying to see Danny Boyle's Alien Love Triangle. It's completed but allegedly only screened twice.

If you are interested in Bobby Sands' story, check out Terry George's underrated film Some Mother's Son.

"New Grill To Revive Foreman-Ali Rivalry"

Why waste a big budget on a building when a simple Police Box would do just fine?

Notice "an attempt on the president’s life" sounds so different after a week…

Wasn't this called Back in the Game, with James Caan, and came out a couple of years ago?

Her character's death and Robocop morphing her image/memory to another woman in Robocop 3 was super weird.

That form (technically the second form) is affectionately called "Kamatakun" and there's lots of parodies worth checking out.

Actually this film doesn't have much overreaction dialogue as compared to other Japanese ones. It was more like the case of" trying to slip in cool dialogues from a cynical dude" thing, which would work in anime but no so much in live action.

It's funny how everyone in the US is calling this a political satire, whereas for us in Japan that is "the norm". The director tired to make the government reaction realistic and ended up depicting the quagmire of political (or social) system we have now.

So how does BitTorrent Now work? You can download this movie for free if you subscribe to their mailing list?

Dune is a brilliant film, from Virginia Madsen's opening monologue to Toto's end credit music. Everyone says it's not good because the director himself said so, but it is a great example of a visionary creating a big budget film.

Chris Walken can save any crappy movies. I'm surprised he's not on the list.

English version of Asterix comics employ at least two distinctively different letters, don't they? One is okay, but another has handwriting-feel that's hard to read sometimes.

I really want to see this but it has no release date here in Japan, oh the irony!
Even Boxtrolls is yet to be released in any form here.

This reminds me of yesterday's news about Cubs DJ being fired for playing Prodigy. They should stick to lyrics-free organs:

What, no Numan Athletics?

I've always liked the bit which Finke's character talks about his wife's infidelity. I had no idea Fyvush was a stage name though.

I dunno, associating The Daily Show with 1996 sounds like a stretch. Wasn't Michael Moore and his TV Nation (and later The Awful Truth) more relevant to counter-conservatism back then?

Does anyone remeber the time when Suicide Squad (sans most notable members) guest starred in short-lived Chase comic back in the 90's? That arc was pretty good, like the whole Chase series.
