If you listen to the DVD extra, the screenwriter says the end of the script has the line "… there's hope" which I thought was quite neat.

Patriot Games: Is the baby a boy or a girl? I NEED TO KNOW!

I'm surprised Terry George's "Some Mother's Son" isn't listed here. That movie is better than Hunger in terms of depicting the effects of Bobby Sands' hunger strike. Too bad it's not available on DVD widely.

The worst character on Voyager would be either Janeway of Seven of Nine. Every time they started preaching the importance of being human or a starfleet officer the story got really stale.

The only way Catch 22 could have worked was to cast Henry Fonda as Major Major Major Major, which they didn't.

I still think Justified is yet to top its wonderful pilot episode.

Apart from the newspaper comics, the unaired pilot of Plastic Man with the voice of SpongeBob was pretty good.

Just watched House of Lies as pre-screening podcast from Showtime, and it was quite lame. Don Cheadle literally stopping the show to break the fourth wall was just annoying.

I have seen the pilot of Awake too, but wasn't that too confusing for a network program? If the protagonist has two lives that one of them may not be real, the audience would find it hard to root for either of his lives.

I say XOMBI should get a mention somewhere. Its story and art were excellent, no matter how short-lived.

He looks like Carl from Pixar's UP in that photo.

Isn't "Live" episode (e.g. ER, West Wing)  supposed to be the king of rating stunts? Or is it too common now?

Didn't Time Crash (the 10th Doctor/5th Doctor special) air on Children in Need Special, with relatively little promotion? It still garnered massive ratings though.
