No, he meant Mia to blame for the whole mess (which entails not believing that Woody did it; I know I don't).

Woody's line was indeed hilarious, honest and humble, unsurprisingly.
Not sure whether I ever saw the much-maligned movie, but the comic was one of their best of its era, at least I remember it as being very funny and smart. Doesn't really affect me directly since as a person past puberty, I don't read comic books any more.
I'd like to see another article focusing on the comedy of Nichols and May, they were groundbreaking, hilarious and way ahead of their time, and relatively little-known/talked-about.
Only bummer was we didn't get to see Holt's command performance of humiliating Terry in front of his family so that his giant brother in law would still feel him.
I think that too and so does SoSaidDanny but our friend Zoe just thinks we're all kind of idiots!
Many times
Have to give you credit for perseverance!
Yes, I agree completely. The stories we see don't correspond exactly with how Noah and Allison were responding to the police's questions. There are way more details in what we see including lots of things we can be sure they didn't mention in their answers. Again,as Danny and I have said, we are just seeing things…
I see it exactly as Danny does. There doesn't need to be a "reason" for showing us the past - we are being told a story. And the "conceit" as they say in movie reviews, is that we are being told it not by a an objective omniscient author/narrator, but rather thru the memories of the two main characters, seeing their…
I figured it's just showing us their two separate somewhat different memories of the events. With or without the interrogation scenes, that could still be a thing and since it's one of the major themes of the show, I have no problem with then continuing to tell the story that way.
Really bums me out that AVC long since decided to stop covering Web Therapy, one of my top favorite current series, every bit as hilarious as The Comeback IMO. I guess when it was being covered those columns just didn't seem to generate that much response; that's the deal with the whole show, it's remarkable but no…
Also, "Will you run away with me?" "Yes," was said almost identically this week in both this and Olive Kitteridge which I just watched a night or two back.
Only if it came up organically, that is, if Cole calls her out on it first. If she brings it up out of nowhere, "Oh by the way I came up with an excuse for why I jumped out of bed and started picking dresses the second you were out the door and here it is," would be really suspicious.
Just started reading the review but had to jump in with this - I could be wrong but I think you have mis-vocabularied the word "tacit," unless I'm mistaken, I thought this word meant "silent," so it does not describe Cole's heartbreaking statement "I love you in that dress." Pick another word.
I've only seen I think one ep of Portlandia and I disagree with Jerry's assessment. (I thought it sucked.) But would he stand by that statement, would he really put it on a par with (some of my choices anyway), The Larry Sanders Show, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Monty Python, Cheers, Taxi, All in the Family, Dick Van Dyke,…
But we don't call it takeaway. I smell a rat.
I am really disappointed by their insistence on trying to continue cashing in on their name with replacement singers, it's ridiculous. Freddie Mercury was Queen or at least, very obviously, an extremely essential element. They have every right to make a living but it really diminishes my respect for the great Brian…
"Bicycle Race" is great. Just musically, some wild, unpredictable chord changes that always perked my ears right up.
Courtney seems pretty cool to me in interviews and stuff, pretty spacey/flakey and that doesn't bother me a bit; I don't really know her music and am not especially motivated to check this out. But I wonder if this guy who posted it is legendary west coast rock radio dj Jim Ladd?
