I disagree with your read on Lindsey's behavior.  From what I can tell she only called Raylan because her husband was starting to act like a jealous idiot again - it's understandable she'd start regretting her choice once he starts beating on convenience store clerks for no reason.

"nerd-bait" isn't a term to insult or mock nerds.  It's intended to point out pandering to nerds.  Putting out superficial work on topics like that in order to get a certain type of person to go "Ooh Zombies!" and ignore that it's just basic jingle-writing is what's insulting to nerds.

Are you saying that because he's not as boring as a boring sample from popular music, he's automatically imaginative?  Or are you saying that cookie-cutter composition on top of nerd-bait themes is the imaginative part?

Actually, if you look at the evidence of industrial response to tariffs at the time, the impact of Smoot-Hawley is vastly overstated by modern scholars.

They were drinking Bud Lime out of wine glasses.  I'm pretty sure this is meant to be *entirely* tongue-in-cheek.

I'm pretty sure if we keep commenting on it it will still be a thing.  Like the Kardashians.

This sounds pretty terrible, actually - just because it mildly subverts your expectations with quirky musical cues it gets high marks?  It's like you've never even *seen* Animal Planet.

This is an interesting listen, but the samples from the movie are pretty jarring and break up the experience.  If it weren't for the tragic circumstances I don't think I'd care about this much at all.  Also, a lot of the pieces sound like brief reprises of their prior work.

Yeah, I really enjoyed watching Primer three months from now.  Best film I've seen since the one I'm about to start watching for the first time but have already seen.

Of all the shows on the air, with this one I have the most fun imagining the actors are actually portraying characters from their other projects.

Some actual 'spoiler' - there's no freaking opposition in the film.  There are just some nervous men who don't want the slaves to be freed who complain about it.  The democrats barely organize to stop the amendment - why weren't they similarly capable of sleaze and bribery to get their way?  Heck, even the

It's almost as if the writers of this show saw some episode of some other show.

Didn't we already meet the fiancee, briefly?  (Fork YOU!)
