Yeah, I always think of the character as a Carrie Underwood/Taylor Swift type. I think the overreaction had more to do with how miserably she came off in the interview — if she'd just done a quick apology, I think it would have died down fast.

Yes, actually, if Sutter has decided Abel has to die, it would make me feel better if he'd use the opportunity to actually show a consequence to raising kids in Jax's lifestyle. This takes away Jax's culpability, and I think it's a storytelling copout to make it about stoner Grandma.
