Film worth checking out?
?
Gotta agree with the less Jeff Garlin remark on Doug Loves Movies. The guy just irritates me too much and takes away from the whole show. Even when he's not speaking I'm just waiting for him to open his gob and mess things up. Maybe a bit harsh but there you go. Love the guy on Curb Your Enthusiasm but this isn't that…
Sorry to break it to you that Todd isn't my real name :( Shamelessly stolen from Father Ted - http://www.xrv.org.uk/photo…
CONTINUITY ALERT!
Loved the latest Doug Loves Movies podcast (Matt Walsh, Michael Bacall, Brody Stevens and Joe Wagner guest). Listened to it whilst walking around the city and had me making silly laughing faces throughout. Has been a bit hit and miss recently but thought this one got it right for the entire hour.
Multiple vaginas?
I'm genuinely surprised.
Film was pants. And I was a fan of HOTD.
Thanks, The September Issue was watched last year and just finished watching Valentino, which was very good. Anything else?
I will take this opportunity for you guys to recommend me good fashion/photography films/shows.
"What a shame that nobody involved saw it at the time of filming."
Thought the second one was a lot weaker than the first - I know it needed to show some clips from the first one but I felt they overdid it. Also, iirc, it also came across that the filmmakers were doing to the father what the community were doing to the kids in the beginning.
Agreed. Poor review.
Bit late to the show but what a horrible film this is.
IS IT??
Waste of time watching this if I haven't seen any of his work?
I felt it was a little bit too staged at times, cross between fiction and documentary if you like. Not that it's a bad thing, but I'm just sayin'. Varda made sure we all came out thinking the woman in the perfume shop was the most interesting of the lot. The magic show/jobs bit was pretty cool.
