Every period show pails in comparison to the Tudors. Henry Cavill is so god damn talented, I hope we get to see him back to playing real roles instead of just stuff that belongs in the sunday funnies.

I like parks and I usually can't stand multi camera sitcoms, but TBBT has better character development. With parks I think its easier to jump on board any episode. TBBT gets funnier after you know the characters for awhile.
