I watched the season 1 finale of Borgen, a Danish series about politics. It's pretty great, I think it's getting a remake over in the US so I'm curious/anxious how that will turn out. I also watched a bit of the premiere of season 2 (which is on my DVR in its entirety), some things were set up a bit too easily but I'm

Hm, this sounds quite different. The other song they released, Scavengers, sounds more like the 'old' THS -  which is probably why I found it more easily likeable.

Facebook feed: "UPDATE: HBO's Enlightened has been canceled. 120 people recommended this." HBO shouldn't have listened to those 120 people.

Look! Vicks is giving us hope! Sweet.

Well, damn, that's not great news to wake up to. I was excited about the Enlightened notification for a sec.

I've been planning to watch GG for a while - I'm a big fan of Parenthood, and some other fans can't say anything else about it but "OH MY GOD LAUREN GRAHAM IS IN IT! Yay, your next life is certainly something to look forward to!

Yes, Tyler repeating Eileen every time was hilarious! I now, ehm, ship them, I think.

I agree, the 'silent reading' was very refreshing.

@avclub-c5fe25896e49ddfe996db7508cf00534:disqus I guess it depends on whether they'll really get fired at the end of this season, but Laura Dern said to Salon.com: "When we first started talking about it, we imagined three seasons, to be
honest, all having a very different moral compass and theme, it kind of
being a

Another great episode - it's a shame that we're already halfway through the season. I loved that Amy admitted that she felt out of place at the event, and just sort of stood there.. and then still refused to talk to the waiter. Great balance.

The Parenthood writers really like breaking windows..
